Creamy White Bean Spread

Bean dips are not a new thing, there are just so many more choices then most of us think about, in my opinion 😁

I love do hummus, especially when I feel lazy about healthy snacks. It is very versatile too, I can add different ingredients such as roasted garlic, peppers and even beets. It can be used as a dip, spread or dressing. It is a vegan option and most can fit it into their food plans.

This white bead dip is creamy and whips up in 10 mins. Most people have these ingredients in their pantry’s as well. Our family really enjoys this as a spread on a veggie sammie or stuffed into a pita with cucumbers, roasted tomatoes, grilled onions and sprouts.

Ingredients

1-2 cups of cooked white beans
1 clove of garlic grated or smashed into paste
Juice from 1/2 lemon
1 tablespoon of Tahini
Cold Pressed extra virgin olive oil
Salt and fresh ground pepper
dried or fresh herb like parsley, oregano, Lemon Thyme, basil, chili pepper and my favorite everything bagel seasoning

In a blender or food processor, dump in all ingredients and blend. Place in a serving dish and garnish with herbs, spice and more olive oil. I love a rich fruity blend for dips like this.

Enjoy the simple things in life 😘 Ms Foodie
